Ferroker brings light to Edelnor
The head office of Edelnor, a leading electricity supply company, stands in Peru’s capital in a large building conspicuous for light’s interplay between its interiors and exteriors. During the day, sunlight enters the building through the glass, while at night light is reflected outwards by mirrors in the lobby.
Tiles by Venis were used in the design project for this impressive head office, headed by architects Leopoldo Scheelje, Gustavo Ballón and Jorge Garrico Lecca, with the collaboration of Arq-Studio, Porcelanosa Grupo’s Peruvian distributor. Ferroker, one of Venis’ premium collections, was chosen for the flooring, guaranteeing everything that an office of this kind needs–elegance, superior quality, uniformity and resistance–, given the high day-to-day pedestrian traffic to which the flooring is subject.
A combination of two colours
59.6×59.6cm Ferroker and Ferroker Platino tiles were used in the lobby of the building and different communal areas. Thanks to Ferroker Platino’s metallic design, settings with an innovative modern touch can be created.
By combining the two colours, a striking contrast is generated, with the platinum adding a touch of light that breaks away from Ferroker’s darker surface, bringing greater luminosity to a smart building where priority is given to technology and natural light.
Six colours and five formats
It is important to add that Ferroker is one of Venis’ flagship collections, sold now for a decade. It is also one of the most all-round collections, with a choice of up to six colours and five formats for floors. Its larger formats lend settings an added sense of spaciousness, while the smaller ones can be used to create a more dynamic feel.
Ferroker can be used with the Ruggine and Shine wall tiles, also manufactured by Venis, to create settings with a uniform appearance.
