Wood and cement… An elegant and attractive combination
This exclusive, yet practical single family home nestles in one of the Murcia Region’s tourist icons, in an area bathed by two seas. The ceramic wall and floor tiles combine a mix of material effects that together form a perfect mix.
The architects responsible for this project situated in the Manga del Mar Menor chose Venis collections for the single family home as they provide guaranteed quality and also comfortable, easy maintenance settings throughout the home.
A cement effect model, another featuring a wood finish…in a range of tones but which mix and match to perfection. On opening the gate, we are immediately struck by a façade of contrasts featuring Newport Natural and Montreal Nogal. The light tone Newport gives way to the striking Montreal, highlighting the home’s windows.
Newport and Montreal Nogal throughout the home
On the same floor, just before moving inside, our eye is immediately drawn to the Newport series in its antislip 59.6 x 59.6 cm version used for the entire ground space. Indeed, here at Venis we apply state-of-the-art technologies to guarantee the same quality of materials for exteriors. Newport will remain unaltered even in rain or high temperatures.
In fact, the exterior and interior pieces are so similar that the terrace runs through to the kitchen, providing a matchless sense of continuity. The 59.6 x 59.6 cm format creates a sense of spaciousness and allows for countless combinations. In this case, the decision was made to create an eye-catching contrast by opting for a dark tone wood finish for the kitchen furniture.
This same combination has been repeated in other areas such as the living room. A majestic wall featuring Montreal Nogal forms an eye-catching backdrop behind the television and a lamp. This decorative style continues up to the first floor, where Montreal Nogal was chosen for the floor tiles. The wood tones contrast with the white walls and doors.
Newport is featured again in one of the toilets. The mix of wood effect and cement effect ceramic tiles is right on trend when it comes to creating contemporary and minimalist settings.
